I'm a laid-back, easygoing, unpredictable, sympathetic kind of guy with a great sense of humor. I'm very introverted until I get to know someone, but when I do I'm almost a polar opposite. Even though I have a rare neurological disorder known as Tourette's syndrome, I'm very intelligent and entirely self-sufficient. I love art and photography, web design, computers and technology, learning, traveling, linguistics, and pretty much anything else that exists. One of the few things that I don't like is hatred - especially discrimination. I believe that discrimination and prejudice are absolutely deplorable, so I sincerely try my best to prevent myself from prejudging someone or something. I'm very open-minded, and even though I have a point-of-view on an issue, I'm always willing to take the time to learn about the topic from another angle. I've been told it's impossible to offend me and I do my best to avoid offending anyone else. I also advocate equal rights for the GLBT (gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender) community, because a) I am gay and b) I believe discrimination is appalling and feel that every step towards acceptance is a step closer to preventing prejudice. I don't listen to music or watch television much, because I'm usually doing something else to pass the time (i.e. surfing the Internet, taking photos of random objects and people, hanging out with friends, etc); however, when I do watch television or listen to music, my interests cover pretty much everything. I'm the type of person who has to do something constantly – I'm a very busy person and have been for as long as I can remember. I'm an extremely perseverant person; if I don't succeed the first time, I will try again, and again, and again. Something that's extremely difficult for me is to say goodbye to someone I care about, even though I've had to do that countless times. Cute and/or shiny objects often distract me. I have a large collection of rubber ducks.
